Electromagnetism explores the link between electricity and magnetism. Electric currents create magnetic fields and changing fields induce currents. This enables key technologies such as electric transformers and motors. The Inductance and Electromagnetism kit explores the link between electricity and magnetism, where currents create magnetic fields and changing fields induce currents. Inductance opposes current changes, enabling key technologies such as transformers and motors. Students work through a experimental workbook which develops the understanding of these concepts.
The kit comprises the required hardware, including 3 sensors, which are connected to EasySense2 downloadable software via Bluetooth or USB.
